Chapter 2 is a theoretical unit addressing questions like: What sorts of animals exist on the earth? What is an animal population? What are the characteristics of different animals, and why do they have specific characteristics? The adolescent is presented with an orderly view of the animals that populate both the continents and oceans of the earth.
The next question is what are animals really? The Aspect Framework was developed in order to systematically study the diversity of animals. But for closer study, further analysis is necessary.
